North Bend Public Library Foundation

The North Bend Library Foundation of North Bend, Nebraska, was organized in 1984 and became a 501(c)(3) public charity in July 2007 to secure gifts and ensure outstanding public library services to the community of North Bend and surrounding rural areas and the communities of Morse Bluff, Ames, Linwood, Prague, Rogers, Snyder, and Cedar Bluffs.  The Foundation will continue to exist after the building of the library to receive gifts.

The North Bend Library Foundation's plan for a new library is the product of years of hard work.  In 2005, the community was surveyed to asses interest in a new library or expanded library.  The architectural firm of Carlson West Povondra was selected and fundraisers were planned that same year.  Through grants, donations, memorials, and fundraisers, the community has raised over $1 Million dollars.

The North Bend Library Foundation's meetings are open to the public.  As we get ever closer to realizing our goal of a new library for North Bend, we encourage those who are interested to come and hear about the progress we are making towards reaching this goal!
