| Each
patron will be issued a library card and a personal barcode number
free of charge. This card must be presented in order to check
out an item or use the Internet. You will be asked to update your
personal information every three years.
Most items at the library may
be checked out. You must be fourteen (14) years old or older
to check out videos or DVD's. New reference materials, and genealogy
materials are available for in-house use only. North Bend
Eagles and some census records are available on
microfilm.
We welcome the use of the
library's Internet access. Please be aware that we are
required by the Federal CIPA law to have installed Filtering
Software for Internet
access, however it is not foolproof and Internet use is not
monitored by the Librarian on duty.
Any adult over the age of 17 may request to have the
filtering system temporary disabled for their use.
It is expected that everyone using the
Internet abide by posted rules and guidelines. To view these
rules and guidelines, click here.
