Welcome Home BBQ

Wow!  Record attendance of over 600 meals served and $3,518.16 raised for the new library!  Thanks to all of the volunteers who stood in that crazy heat to serve and prepare the food.  Extra special thanks to  Rock & Drew Emanuel, Bill Granger, and Doug Hoops who donated their cooking expertise and to all of the businesses and sponsors who donated money, goods and time to make this a great opening event for the 87th Annual Old Settler's Days!

Hazel R. Keene Trust

The Hazel R. Keene Trust has awarded a $200,000 grant for the building of a new library.  This grant is to be used for the technology room, including all equipment and installation, moveable furniture, tables and books.

Fremont Area Community Foundation

The FACF awarded the Capital Campaign Committee a $100,000 last-dollar grant towards the building of a new library.
